Functions: Chipping logs up to 750 mm diameter.
Technical Description: Can be fitted to a tandem trailer, on a truck chassis or a crawler unit. 900 mm chipper drum, driven by a diesel engine up to 300 - 500 kW.
Logs are picked up by a grapple fitted to the unit, and delivered to the feed bed. A heavy duty blower with adjustable supercharger delivers chipped material to a stockpile or waiting truck.
