In response to a number of enquiries, we've shipped in an AHWI FTX148L Hydraulic Mulcher for customers to try out. It is located on the east coast and will be available for demos and also for hire.
The FTX148L is the ideal machine for customers who want a tracked machine for its 'go anywhere' ability, plus plenty of hydraulic power for efficient mulching. With it's long loader-type arms, the FTX148L can mulch up to 2.5 metres high so is perfect for mulching thick bush.

:: CEM36 Mulcher for small excavators ::

With the introduction of the CEM36 hydraulic mulcher, owners of small (8 - 12 tonne) excavators can now fit a productive mulching attachment which is ideal for vegetation management and getting rid of woody scrub and noxious weed. The CEM36's compact width gives it unmatched access to tight spots, while the generous 500 mm diameter rotor offers plenty of mulching power for even the most stubborn vegetation.

Introducing AHWI Australia
AHWI Australia distributes the unrivalled AHWI range
of crawler tractors, mulchers, stone crushers, stump
grinders, rotavators, chippers, bunching shears, grapples and slashers.
Attachments are available for PTO tractors, excavators and skid steers.
AHWI machines are precision manufactured
in southern Germany, close to picturesque Lake Constance.
The processing of woody materials
of all sizes is the main priority of these versatile
machines. Yard waste processing, cleanup work at construction
sites, volume reduction at transfer stations and landfills,
forestry work (cellulose industry/plantations/natural
regeneration), land clearing, clearing vegetation around
power line and pipeline constructions, soil stabilisation,
orchard removal, farming and landscaping are some of
the applications in which AHWI machines excel.
When
organic material is mulched, it is worked into the soil,
so material doesn't have to be transported to landfill
sites. This saves ever-increasing waste transportation
and landfill costs. Mulching also reduces soil erosion
and improves the ground by building up humus soil, works
as a humidity buffer and delays weed growth.
The
robust construction of AHWI machines withstands the
toughest requirements of intense land clearing operations.
Special patented carbide-tipped HDT tools guarantee optimal
performance and minimum loss.
In 1993 AHWI started with the
development of a new generation of crawler tractors.
The principal idea was to offer a carrier for our mulchers,
both produced by one manufacturer and 100% compatible.
Today
AHWI supplies a range of equipment ideally suited to the customer's
needs for operating in extreme environmental conditions,
from the cold climes of Tasmania to the tropical heat
of the Northern Territory.
